[LYRICS] On Prie, as tribute to Japan 03/11/11 Earthquake

The lyrics to the song On Prie in Roméo et Juliette: Les Enfants de Vérones somehow remind me too much of the terrors that are going on in Japan right now...so hence the tribute.

But also I just read some EXTREMELY RACIST comments from Americans regarding the earthquake. Stupid remarks include: "The earthquake is karma because of Pearl Harbour"....HELLO!!!! U.S. bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki right back, which caused a death toll about 93% higher than that of Pearl Harbour!!!! Read the comments here and here and LAUGH YOUR HEAD OFF about (some) Americans' idiocy and ignorance...

Some U.S. People are Racist, Stupid, Ignorant and Need a WHACK ON THE HEAD....they should also be the fist to enlist in a re-education in Ethics and World History. And yes I'm biased against them too, go ahead and bash me.

Grrrr Brrrrrr Ok let's forget that and just focus on enjoying the song~

Quand la mer est noire
Quand la terre gronde
Qu'on se sent tout seul,
Tout seul au monde
Quand nos coeurs de verre se glacent
Qu'on n'sait plus ou est sa place
Quand les dieux sont en colère
Qu'on est perdus sur la terre

On prie
Quand la vie est un enfer
Que les hommes se désespèrent
Qu'il ne reste que la priere

Quand le mal est en armure
Que se battre devient, devient trop dur
Quand les yeux des enfants débordent
Que les violons du temps se desaccordent
Vous qui viendrez après nous
Serez-vous toujours à genoux

On prie

When the sky is dark
When the earth rumbles
When we feel alone,
All alone on earth
When our fragile hearts freeze
And we lose our sense of belonging
When the gods are angered
And we lose our ways

We'll pray
Pray for this hellish life
As mankind descents into hopelessness
All that's left are prayers

When the harm is well-armoured
And fighting it becomes pointless
As the children's eyes tire
and music of time breaks into chaos
You, the generation to come,
Fall onto your knees

And pray
Pray for our parents, our brothers
Hunched backs, sprawled on the ground
We search for you, oh God, but we are lost

We lived detached from the world
In hope of living in peace
But when the earth rumbles
(Pray) we know that our souls is imprisoned

(Pray) we pray for forgiveness
(Pray) so that our life has a purpose
(Pray) so that we can gracefully accept Death's waltz
(Pray) when our souls is imprisoned
(Pray) we hope God shall pardoned us

We pray for our parents, our brothers
Hunched backs, sprawled on the ground
We search for you, oh God, but we are lost.

When the sky is dark
When the earth rumbles
When we feel alone,
All alone on earth.

2 hi-fives!:
